I only go to drop off bedding, towels etc for the animals. I used to take shredded paper but now they don't like the small shredded pieces. Not sure why? I would've thought any could've been used. I'll still go there when I have stuff to take because gotta help look after the animals.

Enrolled in puppy kindy, level 1, level 2 and it has been so great for our pup! Our trainer Shana was amazing - Taro loves her so we're been with her throughout all levels and made such a difference! So glad we enrolled, the downside is he's graduated today and done all classes. Would love to have a level 3 if they had one. Thanks again!

Shame on you RSPCA Malaga. One of your rescue dogs could now be living in a warm loving family environment, but for reasons only known to yourselves the poor dog misses out. I fully understand you need to check people for suitability but, do the checks!Such a shame for the poor dog.

We completed puppy school at the Malaga centre with our little rescue pup Arlo! Meg the trainer of our classes was amazing, We cannot recommend her highly enough. She explained training and behaviors thoroughly and took the time to answer all our questions! Meg was always calm and safe in her training approaches and included all families and pups in each class! We love that RSPCA provides options to continue our pups and our own education and we will definitely be back for level 1 training soon!

Great facility, in very good condition. Staff I met bar one were very customer friendly and committed to their animals. But there are also the overzealous who overdo the cross examinations re suitable people for adoption. I mentioned the muzzle word for an amstaff 5 Yr old i was meeting, when I was told twice that she didn't like other dogs, I said in emergency I would muzzle her, but a more senior Scottish lass arrived on the scene to cross examine me re muzzling, took it out of context and said wouldn't allow an adoption with talk of muzzle in the air, it became confrontational overzealous, and dogmatic, pardon the pun, so I said keep the dog and left. I found out later that the rspca are is anti muzzle. Contrary to many other institutions in the USA and Australia and Europe that recommend muzzles in appropriate situations, am staffs are biters and easily excited according to general info. It would be I thought sensible to muzzle in certain circumstances temporarily, and to protect other dogs from the damage they could quickly do. My idea of muzzling short term was for the safety of a concerned. But the zealot would have none of it. Anti muzzle no matter what. So that was that.

Shame for the animals. Was going to make a donation. Made an appointment too. Person wasn't there. Rude! Very Aussie. Still had a nice chat with someone else and a cuddle with a puppy. Not a big place for state wide facility but quite a few varieties of animals. Watch the road layout, right after the bridge. Miss it and it's a pain to find it again.

First puppy pre school class went very well and run by a very knowledgeable and kind trainer. We can't wait to go back next week!
